Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's Lofaso invites you to look into her soul through her cuisine. She began to be interested in food when she moved from suburbs of Long Island to the diverse cultures of Los Angeles. Cavatelli and Carnitas are able to coexist in harmony with the food menu. This is a belief which has evolved in the course of many years. The dishes she serves are based on a singular idea, which is to embrace the current while reminiscing fondly on the old. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in 2013 and was immediately very well received. The restaurant's version of old-school Italian has been hailed as among Los Angeles' most compelling Italian restaurant chains. The food at Lofaso is always delicious, welcoming and pleasing. Lofaso took her cues from the greats of culinary with sophisticated cooking techniques. She didn't hesitate to take extreme risks in order to respect her intuition. After quickly rising to the top of the ladder She transformed a variety of Los Angeles high-profile restaurants while working with high-profile stars. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in 2011. The Lofaso is now settling within Black Market, and through the alliances she made. The partnership would allow for creativity and freedom Lofaso wanted. Black Market does not have one direction that's the intention. It could start with chip dill, followed by shishitos peppers. Then comes a Korean wing and finally a meatball course. Antonia Lofaso, the cook behind this mouth-watering menu of vibrant flavors, anchors everything. Lofaso assessed her success in the field based on her ability to both understand and be authentic to her audiences.
