Bella Poarch is a Filipino born to biological Filipino parents. She was born February 9 the 9th of February, 1997. Her grandmother was raised in the slums by her biological parents up to when she was 3 years old. Her adoption was later completed. Her adoptive father, a Philippine-American from a military background, was white, and American. The woman claims she and her brother, who was adopted when infants, were subject to abuse until they enlisted. The family moved across the country to San Francisco for a few months to live with her aunt prior to moving to Texas when she was 13 due the need of her father to have a bypass procedure. Although the physical violence subsided, she claims to have experienced mental violence from her father back at home. When she was 18, Poarch enlisted into the United States Navy. Poarch started the TikTok account on April of 2020 and swiftly rose to stardom amassing more than 40 million followers in less than eight months. She uploaded many videos however her one that went on to become most popular was for Millie B's viral smash Soph Aspin Send. The video that was zoomed in of her moving her lips and jumping to the song was a huge hit and became one of the most-viewed TikTok videos of all time. Following her joining TikTok she created an account on YouTube and Twitter account in order to make the most of her popularity. The fame of Poarch peaked in December 2020. It was reported that she attracted the attention of two large professional Esports organizations. FaZe Clan (100 Thieves) and 100 Thieves wanted to hire her to develop videos for their respective brands.
