Awkwafina
American musician and actor Awkwafina debuted with sly rap tracks that tackled racial identity and sexuality with an incisive and humorous perspective, before expanding her reach into Hollywood. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came through trumpet. Later, she began the classical and hip-hop genres. While in the school, she focused on journalism and woman's studies. She was also a student of Mandarin during a time in Beijing. Her focus shifted to music once she completed her degree. Following her viral success on the Internet the track My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually made its way onto the debut album Yellow Ranger. Apart from having a book published, her other career was singing. She's appeared in movies including Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap.
