Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira is a Brazilian actress born May 26th 1978, in Campinas Sao Paulo. Her roles include Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (2000). Ana Paula Oliveira became a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March 2020. She is the current manager of the Assassination Witness Project, and is a key member of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. The GI-TOC's research activities are focused on assassinations, disappearances and other types of violence in the context of illicit economy. Her research interests also involve the effect of criminal organizations in relation to human rights, as well as law and policy. Ana Paula has an LL.M. cum laude (with the highest distinction) with honors International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She has acquired an LL.M. qualification with a concentration in Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree in magna cum laude Legal as well as Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her professional experience encompasses four years of experience with a firm specializing in civil litigation for public entities. She also has held variety of assisting positions at the two non-governmental organisations in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
