Farrah Fawcett, an American actor, artist and model best recognized for her role of 'The Apostle'. She was nominated six times in the Golden Globe Award and four times for the Emmy Award. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, the actress began her career by appearing in commercials. She has also appeared as a guest star in television shows like 'I Dream of Jeannie' as well as the 'Flying Nun. She had her first film part, which was a minor supporting part in The French motion picture Love is a Funny Thing. She became internationally known for her famous red swimsuit poster which eventually became the most popular pin-up-themed poster ever. Through the years she was a part of other well-known TV series and films which helped to establish her as an iconic sex icon within the world of sex. It was highly appreciated that she played the role of a Private Detective in the Crime Drama Series "Charlie's Angles". Three women were employed by Los Angeles' private detective agency. The show focused on the stories of three females employed by an agency for private detectives in Los Angeles. In 1989, aged 59, she was found to be having anal cancer. The cancer died three years following.
