Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. Her first job was working in the real estate business. She was introduced to Tarek Al Moussa in the industry of real estate. They had a great time up until 2008, when the stock market crashed and numerous house flippers and real estate investors went under. Tarek El Moussa almost wiped out due to the 2008 market crash. When they moved from their home that was costing them $6,000 a year to a place that was $700, they nearly lost all their possessions. The company slowly recovered as well as the economy. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted an acquaintance to make the audition tapes for HGTV which featured Christina reflipping properties starting from scratch. Pie Town Productions executive received the tape. The couple fell in love Tarek with Christina. The couple signed a deal with HGTV. The show "Flip of Flop" began its run on April 13, 2013. From 2013 until 2017, 92 episodes were shown over seven seasons. The series featured Christina and Tarek buying properties in Orange County. They would spend weeks upgrading the houses to be able to sell their properties at a the profit. Tarek is in charge of the demolition, remodeling and design. Christina keeps everything running on schedule.
